This will eliminate the phone chain. If there is not a message I will be at the fields for practice, it is up to your discretion if you choose to attend if the weather is questionable.

What We Are About

The Quakertown Soccer Club currently offers a division for individuals with special needs. From ages 5 to adulthood, athletes, regardless of ability level, come to show off their skills and play with their friends, and teammates. The program currently consists of more than 60 players, divided onto a number of fields with other athletes of similar age and ability level. Every Wednesday and Thursday evening for five weeks in May and June, the players meet to socialize, exercise, build soccer and motor skills, and be part of a team. All the while, they are building a stronger self confidence while feeling a sense of belonging. This division provides an atmosphere where everyone is accepted and each player leaves, feeling successful. Each player receives a soccer ball and shin guards, as well as a team photo and personalized t-shirt. The season ends with our annual soccer picnic, full of food, awards, and good friends! Historically, the program has been funded through a memorial fund that is replenished through special fundraisers, as well as personal donations. Our community has helped to make this team possible. Most importantly, parents and volunteers from the community make it possible to offer this program, by donating their time, love, and energy to coach these athletes each week. We encourage family, friends, and community members to join us from the sidelines and share with us, as we all try to meet our "goals"!
